- Sheet count is calculated per wall surface, rounding up to whole sheets.
- Joint compound estimate uses local gallons-per-joint-foot and gallons-per-screw heuristics.
- Screw count uses a local screws-per-sheet estimate and does not provide a fastening schedule.
Limitations
- Does not account for specialty installations like arched openings, curved walls, multilevel ceilings, shafts, exterior surfaces, or cut optimization.
- Does not approve wet areas, tile backer, waterproofing, fire-rated assemblies, sound-rated assemblies, shear walls, structural bracing, permit requirements, or AHJ acceptance.
